Время тикало. Прошел час «Х», когда сменялась охрана, а сигналов никаких не поступало. Уже было пора ложиться спать. Он отпустил Гу Ли отдыхать. И вдруг платеж, и не просто, а на 2 миллиона больше со словами: «Простите за непредвиденные трудности. Все в силе!»

Он разбудил охранника:

– Организуй машины сейчас. Да, весь вывоз.

– Там охрана зашла на пост! Будут вопросы… Что Вам мало денег? Может, ну ее, эту деятельность?

– Я сам позвоню охране и все улажу. Грузим!
